BRIEF
When Lisa first contacted me she didn’t have a brand, or a business for that matter! She had commissioned an artist to paint her some tea flowers and a tea pot and wanted me to help her create a brand identity with these as a starting point. Together we honed in on the brand story that Lisa wanted to tell and I designed a unique brand for this loose leaf tea maker. This included a logo and brand board, printed and digital collateral, website and packaging design. Later I also helped Lisa with social media strategy and coached her through the first two years of establishing and running her business.
I have worked with Sam from Brand It Girl on the Tea at Henry’s project for a year now. In that time we have developed a branding story for Tea at Henry’s that breathes life into the branding messages that I have sought to convey through my tea business, those messages emphasising memories and moments through tea. Sam has set up a truly beautiful website for me that I know will resonate with so many of my customers. I love it and am so proud of it. Sam has also designed a range of packaging elements for Tea at Henry’s including labels for my tea pouches, business cards, stickers, thank you postcards, planners, recipe cards, graphics for social media and gift tags. Her eye for composition, style and design is beautiful and she has a real talent for practically implementing what I can only visualise. Throughout the project we have utilised an online portal to store and share drafts and I have found that an excellent way to keep track of how my project is progressing. Sam has also used video tutorials in a highly effective way to teach, mentor and guide me in how to use my website, make amendments and manage both it and my email list system with confidence and ease. I feel a little sad that my project with Sam is coming to an end but I have lots of exciting ideas for the future for my tea business that I will certainly be getting Sam’s help with.
